The SUT is conducting recruitment in the next edition of the programme related to the employment of outstanding prominent and outstanding early-stage scientists. The deadline for submitting applications has been extended to 15 September 2025.

As part of the implementation of the Excellence Initiative – Research University (IDUB) programme, the University continues its efforts to strengthen its academic staff by recruiting top-tier researchers from Poland and abroad. Candidates are expected to demonstrate potential to establish research teams, apply for competitive research funding – including Horizon Europe – and publish in prestigious academic journals.

The updated calls for applications, available in both Polish and English, have been published on the University’s website, the EURAXESS portal, and the website of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Please note that, as of the current edition, applicants are required to submit an individual development plan, agreed with the unit in which they intend to work if successful, and confirmed by the head of that unit.

Applications must be submitted by 25 August 2025 via the electronic recruitment system indicated in the calls for applications. Employment at the Silesian University of Technology under this competition must commence by 31 December 2025.
