Recruitment for MBA studies at the Silesian University of Technology is under way
The Business School of the Silesian University of Technology invites all interested applicants to enrol for Master of Business Administration studies in the Energy and Digital Transformation profile. Recruitment is open until March 28th, 2025.

A graduate of these studies acquires interdisciplinary, advanced managerial competencies. The studies allow to acquire knowledge based on the latest achievements of contemporary disciplines: economics and finance, management, psychology, law, social communication and media sciences and many others. The MBA program: “Energy and Digital Transformation” has been prepared based on the standards of one of the 3 most prestigious worldwide accreditations of AMBA (Association of Master of Business Administration) and is currently undergoing BGA accreditation, which will enable graduates to obtain a diploma of recognized international rank. The graduate, apart from the standard 580-hour didactic and managerial path, gains knowledge and skills in the following topics:
- Legislation and decarbonization of energy and industry in the EU and worldwide
- Energy policy, energy, and fuel market: Case studies
- Decentralization of energy and energy security
- Circular economy (water, waste, electricity, heat)
- Energy transition – role, relevance, assessment, and perspectives
- Implementation of non-system, distributed projects, GOZ
- Industrial Internet of Things.
- Big data – processing of large data sets, cloud computing
- Vertical and horizontal integration in the organization.
- Integration of systems. Incremental technologies

- Technology and product evaluation, transfer, and commercialization of solutions
- Advisory and implementation project in the field of energy and digital transformation.
The studies last 2 years – 4 semesters and are addressed to graduates of master and bachelor studies.
Candidates undergo a multi-stage recruitment system. They submit an application in the recruitment system, pass an exam in the form of a GMAT-type competency test, then undergo an interview.
In addition, candidates for studies must present a certificate confirming managerial experience, i.e. a minimum of 3 years of internship in a managerial position/positions (running their own business, employment contract, mandate contract, managerial contract).
