Ray Wilson at the spring concert of the Silesian University of Technology

The traditional Spring Concert of the Silesian University of Technology took place at the House of Music and Dance in Zabrze. The University authorities, invited guests and employees of the Silesian University of Technology were present at the ceremony.

The event was held on the 78th anniversary of our University.

– We are happy with each anniversary of the Silesian University of Technology. This concert is an expression of thanks to the entire Academic Community, to all employees, regardless of their position and function. Thanks to their work, the Silesian University of Technology builds its prestige, national and international recognition - said the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, prof. Arkadiusz Mężyk.

This year's Spring Concert featured Ray Wilson, lead singer of the British band Genesis. The artist emphasized that the evening was special. “The  reaction of the audience was great. Sometimes with such concerts it is difficult to predict how the listeners will react or how to make them enjoy the show and relax. But it turned out to be great, the audience was very engaged - some even sang and danced” - said the artist.

This year's Spring Concert of the Silesian University of Technology was held on the occasion of the 78^th  anniversary of the founding of the University.
