Quality Forum 2021 - seminar
The impact of the coronavirus pandemic on higher education and changes occurring in the functioning of universities are the main issues to be discussed during the debate within the Quality Forum 2021, organised by the Polish Accreditation Committee. Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Professor Arkadiusz Mężyk PhD, DSc will be one of the participants. The event will be held on 9 June.
The seminar: "What did we learn about higher education during the COVID-19 pandemic? Quality assurance in higher education - crises and opportunities in the short and long term" is addressed to all individuals interested in changes in the functioning of universities due to the coronavirus pandemic. The organisers of the event emphasise, representatives of higher education in Poland and worldwide faced difficult and rapid changes. They were mainly challenged by management models - the COVID-19 pandemic made it necessary for all universities to meet the challenges and ensure rapid adaptation to the implementation of the educational process.
The Quality Forum 2021 is divided into three modules:
- "Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on higher education",
- "Adaptation of universities to new conditions",
- "Beyond the pandemic - long-term effects of the pandemic on higher education in Poland and the quality of education. Suggested solutions".
The debates will be attended by representatives of institutions, organisations and expert communities related to the area of higher education. The Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Professor Arkadiusz Mężyk, President of CRASP will be one of the participants of the discussion concerning the issues related to new ways of communication and information exchange, implementation of the remote and blended teaching, financial consequences of the pandemic.
Registration for the event can be made until 7 June 2021 via the form. The seminar starts on 9 June at 8:30 am on the ClickMeeting platform. The Quality Forum 2021 is organised by the Polish Accreditation Committee.
