On the 11th of March, at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, Deputy Minister Michał Jaros handed over appointments to the Advisory Team for the development of the State Architectural Policy. They were awarded to scientists of the Silesian University of Technology: Dr Hab. Eng. Arch. Katarzyna Ujma-Wąsowicz, Prof. SUT, and Dr Hab Eng. Arch. Klaudiusz Fross, Prof. SUT, from the Faculty of Architecture.
The team consisting of specialists is to work out the objectives of the State Architectural Policy in the context of quality of life, security and development of the country. This is a breakthrough moment that will allow us to develop a long-awaited document on space and architecture.
Landscape, spatial planning, architecture, heritage, education, quality assessments, availability, investments, infrastructure, security, these are just some important issues. It is important that space and architecture are a common good and constitute the quality of life of society.
