Professor Mieczysław Chorąży Scholarship
You can submit applications for the Professor Mieczysław Chorąży scholarship until October 8th, 2023. The aim of the competition is to reward outstanding young scientists working in Polish research institutions and to encourage them to continue research.
The scholarship was founded to honour and commemorate Professor Mieczysław Chorąży (1925-2021), a great man and an outstanding Polish researcher who conducted cancer research at the Institute of Oncology in Gliwice for seven decades. He developed the local research department and raised generations of subsequent scientists.
The competition is addressed to young scientists (PhD students and doctors up to three years after obtaining a doctoral degree) working in Polish research centres.
The assessment will cover all achievements and research conducted in the field of biology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, chemistry, medicine or other fields of knowledge related to cancer research.
Applications can be submitted until October 8th, 2023, and the competition results will take place during this year's Gliwice Scientific Meetings (November 16-17, 2023).
