Professor Józef Giergiel has passed away

It is with deep regret that we inform you that on May 4^th, 2023, at the age of 92, Professor Józef Giergiel, an outstanding scientist at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, passed away.

The funeral mass will be celebrated on May 10^th at 1:00 pm in the chapel at the parish cemetery at Mała Góra Street in Kraków-Bieżanów, after which the deceased will be escorted to his final resting place.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to St. Lazarus Hospice in Krakow. The Quaestors will be present at the funeral ceremony.

We extend our most sincere condolences to the family and loved ones.
