Professor Janusz Kotowicz PhD, DSc as a member of the Coordinating Council for Hydrogen Economy

On 11 March 2022 Professor Janusz Kotowicz PhD, DSc was appointed a member of the Coordinating Council for Hydrogen Economy. The appointment letter was signed by the Minister of Climate and Environment, Anna Moskwa.

The Coordinating Council is the body supervising the implementation of the "Sectoral Agreement for the Development of the Hydrogen Economy". It was signed on 14 October 2021 upon the initiative of Ireneusz Zyska, Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment, Government Plenipotentiary for RES, between the government administration, representatives of financial institutions, entrepreneurs, investors, the supply chain and the scientific sector.

The task of the Council is to coordinate activities resulting from the Agreement, in particular, to monitor the implementation of the strategic objectives, to establish working groups to organise the process of cooperation of the parties in the implementation of the strategic objectives and to prepare annual reports on the implementation of the provisions of the Sectoral Agreement.

The first meeting of the Coordination Council was held on 22 March. It is the next stage of works related to the implementation of the provisions of the Sectoral Agreement in this scope. The Council was chaired by the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Climate and Environment, the Government Plenipotentiary for Renewable Energy Sources, Ireneusz Zyska.
