Prof. Marek Pawełczyk has been elected the chairman of the Board of Rectors of EURECA-PRO; the presidency of the Silesian University of Technology

The Rector of the Silesian University of Technology became the President of the Board of Rectors of EURECA-PRO for a two-year term, and thus the Silesian University of Technology will take over the presidency of the European University for this period. Two candidates were considered for this post. Prof. Marek Pawełczyk received 7 out of 9 votes cast by the rectors of our alliance in a secret ballot.

The Board of Rectors is the highest decision-making body responsible for the strategic management of EURECA-PRO. It oversees its implementation, makes key decisions – including structural changes and financing – and ensures that activities are aligned with the vision for the year 2040. It represents the program at institutional, national, and European level, supporting its long-term development.
