Prof. Marek Gzik - Deputy Minister of Science

Prof. Marek Gzik has been appointed a Secretary of State at the Ministry of Science. He was appointed to this position on December 13th, 2023.

Prof. Marek Gzik is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology. Currently, he is the director of EHTIC - European HealthTech Innovation Centre (EHTIC) of the Silesian University of Technology. In 2012-2020 he was the dean of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering and in 2022-2023 he was the chairman of the Silesian Voivodeship Assembly.
