Prof. Anna Chrobok will deliver a lecture during the session of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Katowice

The Presidium of the Polish Academy of Sciences Branch in Katowice cordially invites to the 126th session of the General Assembly, which will take place on the 22nd of April (Wednesday) 2026 at 15.30, at the seat of the Polish Academy of Sciences Branch in Katowice, at 8, Krasińskiego Street (Silesian University of Technology building), room 1065, first floor.

During the session, the paper entitled “Design of modern (bio)catalytic materials for sustainable production technologies of light organic synthesis products” will be delivered by Prof. Dr Hab. Eng. Anna Chrobok, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education at the Silesian University of Technology

Let us remind you that Prof. Dr Hab. Eng. Anna Chrobok recently received the Silver Engineer statuette in the "Technical Review" Readers' plebiscite for the title of the Golden Engineer. Professor Chrobok was appreciated for her activity and scientific achievements in the field of chemistry. She is a specialist in chemical and organic technology and catalysis, as well as the author of over 140 works and 50 patents. She has led numerous grants and implementation projects. She is also a member of the Polish Chemical Society. She works with industry, had many foreign internships and was a scientific supervisor of 16 doctorates.

Immediately after the lecture by Prof. Anna Chrobok, i.e. at 17.00, in room 3067 on the third floor, a meeting of the members of the Polish Academy of Sciences Branch in Katowice will also take place.
