Preparatory courses before you start your technical studies

The Continuing Education Centre (CKU) – a branch of the Silesian University of Technology in Rybnik is happy to invite you to participate in preparatory courses before the beginning of your technical studies. The courses are addressed to graduates of secondary schools, especially those who graduated from general education secondary schools.

The goal of the courses is to prepare future students to begin their studies in technical fields of study and also to complement the knowledge of general education secondary school graduates concerning the subjects, which are not included in the curriculum of these schools. We offer 4 different modules of preparatory courses:

Mathematics, Physics with Basics of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science (Computer Programming), Basics of Digital Systems Theory.

Courses will take place before the beginning of the first year of studies or in the first months of the first semester of studies. They will be delivered in a blended learning form (in-person at CKU in Rybnik and online) or fully in an online form. Each course lasts 18 clock hours. Classes are conducted in the form of workshops and individual consultations.
