POP Science 2021 Award – choose the best science popularisers from the Silesian University of Technology!

Two scientists from the Silesian University of Technology: Professor Aleksandra Ziembińska-Buczyńska and Marcelina Jureczko PhD, Eng.,  have been nominated in the POP Science 2021 competition in the category Think globally, act locally. Voting takes place via the website.

Internet voting is open till 11.59 p.m on 7 October 2021. The purpose of the voting is to select the winners of the POP Science award of the Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE 2021. This award is granted to people and projects popularising science in three categories (videoblog, blog or website, radio programme or podcast) and two regional categories under the common name - Think globally, act locally: university employee and resident of the Silesian Voivodship.

Having counted the votes submitted by members of the Jury for the candidates from among all the received applications, the nominees for the POP Science award are chosen. After the list of nominees is announced, everyone can vote for them via Internet voting.
