POB2 seminar with staff from the European Space Agency

On 15 June (Wednesday) at 3:00 p.m. a POB2 seminar "The Advent of Artificial Intelligence and Edge Computing for Space Applications" will be held online with the European Space Agency staff. It will focus on artificial intelligence in space applications.

As communicated by dr hab. inż. Jakub Nalepa, prof. PŚ and dr hab. inż. Paweł Kasprowski, prof. PŚ, this lecture will provide an overview of the current achievements and challenges of AI for space applications and present several actual cases of the use of artificial intelligence in Earth observation explored at the European Space Agency - from machine learning to quantum computing.

The speakers will be Pierre-Philippe Mathieu, Michael Marszalek, Stephen Moran, Bertrand Le Saux, Alistair Francis, Gabriele Meoni, Michal Siemaszko.
