MSc. Eng. Klaudia Cholewa, a PhD student at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology, became the vice-president of the EURECA-PRO Student Council. She will perform this role until the end of 2026.

MSc. Eng. Klaudia Cholewa carries out her doctoral thesis at the Foundation for the Development of Cardiac Surgery named after Prof. Zbigniew Religa, where she deals with issues related to modern technologies for cardiac surgery and mechanical circulatory support systems, combining biomedical engineering with real clinical needs.

- EURECA-PRO is a place where young researchers develop their research competences, build scientific career paths and co-shape the directions of their research. With my work I want to strengthen the involvement of doctoral students and young scientists in international initiatives and create a space for real cooperation between different disciplines and centres – explains the doctoral student of our University.
