Outstanding young scientists from the Silesian University of Technology received ministerial scholarships

Six outstanding young scientists from the Silesian University of Technology received scholarships from the Minister of Science and Higher Education. Of the 1,640 applications submitted in the competition for ministerial scholarships, six representatives of the Silesian University of Technology were included on the list of winners.

Scholarships were awarded to:

• Dr Eng. Joanna Bok-Badura
• Dr Eng. Andrzej Dzienia
• Dr Eng. Marcelina Jureczko.
• Sławomira Kołsut
• Dr Jolanta Konieczny
• Dr Eng. Aleksandra Kozłowska

The scholarships were awarded for a period of 3 years, and their monthly amount is over 5,000 PLN, which allows them to supplement the budget of young scientists starting their careers. To receive the scholarship, winners had to demonstrate significant scientific achievements, and their applications were assessed by a ministerial committee.
