Outstanding young scientists from the Silesian University of Technology received ministerial scholarships

Six outstanding young scientists from the Silesian University of Technology received scholarships from the Minister of Science and Higher Education.

Among the 1711 applications submitted in the competition for ministerial scholarships, six representatives of the Silesian University of Technology were included in the list of winners: Dr Alina Brzęczek–Szafran, Dr Karolina Chodura, Dr Agnieszka Korus, MSc Eng. Jakub Ochman, Dr Adam Skowronek and Dr Ida Skubis.

Scholarships have been awarded for a period of 3 years, and their monthly amount is over PLN 5 thousand, which allows to fund the budget of young scientists starting their careers.

In order to receive the scholarship, the winners had to demonstrate significant scientific achievements, and their applications were assessed by a special committee.
