Organization of the academic year 2021/2022

The Rector of the Silesian University of Technology has signed an ordinance about the organisation of the academic year 2021/2022. The inauguration ceremony will take place on 1 October 2021 at 11:00 a.m. The academic year 2021/2022 will end on 30 September 2022. The winter semester should be completed until 28.02.2022. The summer semester will start on March 1, 2022 and will last September 30, 2022.

Days off in the winter term are following: 1 and 11 November 2021, 6 January 2022, while in the summer term - 1 and 3 May 2022, 5 and 16 June 2022.

According to the schedule of the academic year 2021/2022, in the coming academic year, learning will take place in the contact form, keeping the sanitary regulations in force. In the case of an increased outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 virus, a different form of organisation of education may be introduced.
