Open Days of the Silesian University of Technology
From the 10th to 13th of March 2026, the Silesian University of Technology will host Open Days. The event is addressed to pupils and teachers at secondary schools. This is a unique opportunity for pupils to learn about the fields of study, visit laboratories, talk to students and lecturers, as well as take part in workshops and presentations. Open Days will take place on all campuses of the Silesian University of Technology – Gliwice, Katowice, Zabrze, and Rybnik.
Schedule of the Open Days:
March 10th – Gliwice, Education and Congress Centre of the Silesian University of Technology (18B, Konarskiego Street).
There will be stands presenting all faculties of the University waiting for pupils. There will also be lectures and talks with students and lecturers. On this day, you will also be able to take a look at the lecture halls and laboratories throughout the campus.
March 11th – Katowice (8, Krasińskiego Street, Katowice)
during this event, the offer will be presented by those operating on a daily basis on the Katowice campus: Faculty of Materials Engineering and Digitization of Industry, Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering, Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science and Faculty of Architecture.
However, our other Faculties will also be present during the Open Days. No matter what field of study the pupils might be interested in, it is worth coming and getting acquainted with the offer of education.
March 12th – Zabrze (40a, Roosevelta Street, Zabrze)
On this day we will meet at the European HealthTech Innovation Centre and at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering and the Faculty of Organization and Management. During the event, there will be a presentation of the entire rich educational offer of the Silesian University of Technology.
March 13th – Rybnik (54, Kościuszki Street, Rybnik)
During the event organized at the Silesian University of Technology Branch in Rybnik, the stands of Faculties located in other cities will also be present, and students and lecturers will be happy to answer any question.
We encourage both organized groups and individual pupils to participate in the Open Days. It is an event for all those who want to discover the world of science and technology and learn about the educational offer of one of the best universities in Poland.
