Presentation of the educational offer of the Silesian University of Technology, meetings with students and representatives of student research clubs, visiting faculties and the lecture "Can you see the sound?" – on March 31st , the Open Day of the Silesian University of Technology will take place. During the event you will also be able to play chess with... Robot!
The Open Day of the Silesian University of Technology is an opportunity for candidates to get to know the University, talk to scientists and students. The meeting will take place on March 31st , 2023 from 10.00 am in the Education and Congress Centre at 18B, Konarskiego Street in Gliwice.
During the event, candidates will be able to get acquainted with the educational offer at the Silesian University of Technology, which will be presented by dr hab. Eng. Jarosław Brodny, prof. of SUT. Then dr Eng. Bogusław Ziębowicz during his lecture will explain " Can you see the sound?". The stands of faculties, student research clubs and student government will be waiting for those interested. There you will be able to learn more about how to study at the Silesian University of Technology and what the university offers. During the Open Day there will be an opportunity to visit the faculties of our university.
During the Open Day at the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering and Industrial Automation, you will be able to play chess with a robot developed by students of this Faculty and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. The robot is waiting for daredevils from 13.00 to 14.00.
The framework schedule of the Open Day:
- 10:00 - Auditorium A - presentation of the offer of education at the Silesian University of Technology and a demonstration of physicists
- 11:00-13:00 - ground floor and first floor of the Education and Congress Centre - meetings with representatives of faculties, student governments and student research clubs.
- 13:00 – visiting the faculties.
