On October 4th, the International Trade Fair of Machine Tools, Tools and Processing Technology TOOLEX starts
On October 4th a three-day 14th International Trade Fair of Machine Tools, Tools and Processing Technology TOOLEX will begin in Katowice. The event will be accompanied by conferences: "Nowy Przemysł 4.0" and "Tech and Job".
The Silesian University of Technology is the institutional partner of the event.
Among the speakers, on behalf of our University, are: dr hab. Eng. Anna Timofiejczuk, prof. SUT - the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Andrzej Soldaty - director of the Centre of Industry 4.0.
TOOLEX participants will be able to familiarize themselves with the latest technological solutions - it is attended by market leaders involved in the design, production or distribution of machining machinery or cutting tools. In total, nearly 150 exhibitors will be present.
The event will be accompanied by conferences: "Nowy Przemysł 4.0" and "Tech and Job".
As part of the "New Industry 4.0" conference, participants will discuss changes, challenges and the future of industry in Poland, breakthrough technologies and their applications. The organizers will take care of a modern and varied formula of the event, providing participants with multimedia and direct contact with technologies, creators and users, in accordance with the slogan: "See and test - how Industry 4.0 technologies work in practice".
During the "Tech and Job" conference, the speakers will discuss the situation on the Polish labour market for engineers and specialists as well as challenges in the industry.
As every year, the fair is accompanied by the Environmental Seminar of Tribologists organized by the Polish Tribological Society, Silesian Branch and the Department of Rail Transport of the Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology. The main topic of the discussion will be tribology in rail transport.
