New Mobility Congress in September!
We invite you to participate in the event, during which experts from the broadly understood mobility industry will meet. This is one of the disciplines in which scientists of the Silesian University of Technology also actively work.
The New Mobility Congress 2025 is the largest event in Central and Eastern Europe dedicated entirely to sustainable transformation. This year, KNM (New Mobility Congress) is moving to the heart of the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis with a program that addresses the most important economic, social and transport challenges facing Poland and the CEE region. The event, organized by the Polish Association of New Mobility (PSNM) and E-Mobility Europe, will take place on 23-25 September 2025 at the International Congress Centre in Katowice.
The KNM 2025 scale is groundbreaking. 10 stages will host 250 program points: Discussion panels, workshops, round tables, presentations, and premiere shows. The substantive part will focus on six main thematic paths, during which topics such as reindustrialization, AI, automation, digitalisation, and energy security will be discussed (as KNM 2025 goes beyond transport, focusing on all leading trends related to sustainable transformation). There will also be talk about hydrogen transport, low-carbon constraints, and mobility in the cities of the future.
The host of the event is the Upper Silesian and Zagłębie Metropolis.
GZM (Upper Silesian and Zagłębie Metropolis is a union of 41 cities and municipalities of Upper Silesia and Zagłębie, inhabited by over 2 million people. It is responsible for one of the largest public transport systems in Europe, Transport GZM. It is a leader in the implementation of modern solutions in the field of transport and urban mobility. GZM is the ideal venue for the most important event in the sector of sustainable mobility and zero-emission technologies in the CEE region.
