New edition of programme aimed at recruiting outstanding researchers
The nineth edition of the programme related to the employment of prominent researchers and outstanding young scientists at the SUT has been launched. The call for applications will run until 7 January 2024.
As part of the implementation of the Excellence Initiative - Research University (IDUB) programme, Silesian University of Technology continues to work on strengthening its research staff by employing prominent researchers and outstanding young scientists, in particular from abroad, who can form and lead research teams, apply for funding for research projects within a year, also in the Horizon programme, and publish in renowned journals.
Updated competition announcements in Polish and English have been published on the University's website, but also on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science and on the international portal for mobile researchers EURAXESS.
Detailed information on the requirements and conditions of employment drawn up in Polish and English can be found in the links below:

In order to disseminate the attached announcements, we once again encourage the staff of Silesian University of Technology to forward them to researchers they know who meet the criteria for the position. These requirements are demanding, but the opportunities offered by the University are significant and competitive with leading foreign universities.
Potential candidates should first look at the SUT's package of pro-quality programmes, from which they will be able to benefit, especially if, during their work at the University, they demonstrate achievements comparable to those required by the competition criteria.
Applications can be submitted until 7 January 2024 via the online recruitment support system, the link to which is included in the respective announcement.
