National Chemical Competition of the Silesian University of Technology
We invite you to the XXXII edition of the National Chemical Competition for secondary school youth.
As in previous years, the Competition will consist of two parts: a written and laboratory ones and will last two days. The written part, which will take place on Saturday 07.03.2026, will be an elimination, while the laboratory tasks will be the final of the Competition. The final will take place on Thursday, 19.03.2026.
in the written part of the Competition, participants will solve test and problem tasks, with one of the tasks related to the given lecture. The subject matter of written assignments will go in part beyond the chemistry program provided for secondary comprehensive schools. Familiarization with the tasks from the previous stages is recommended as the best way to prepare for the Competition.
The organizers provide for the possibility for participants to use their own materials (books, tables, periodic table, own notes, but not electronic sources).
Participants can use a simple or scientific calculator but not a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, etc.

No more than 28 of the best participants will be admitted to the finals.
Regardless of the prizes in kind or cash provided for the finalists of the Competition, the ten best are also entitled to additional rights in accordance with the regulations of the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, i.e. benefits during recruitment to the Silesian University of Technology and participation in the pro-quality program of the University.
