“My PhD in 180 seconds" competition

The fifth edition of the competition "My PhD in 180 seconds" begins. The event is organized by the French Institute in Poland in cooperation with the French Cultural Centre and Plejada - Academic Society of Polish Romanists.

Until February 19^th , 2023, you can apply for the competition "My PhD in 180 seconds". The competition is an opportunity for doctoral students to present their scientific work to a wide audience. It is about explaining complex issues in a simple way. In addition to the scientific dimension, the competition provides an opportunity to test oneself in public speaking, which is a huge advantage in building a career!

• For a presentation in French, participants have no more than 180 seconds and can use only one slide
• It is an international competition, organized in several French-speaking countries around the world. This is its fifth edition in Central Europe.
• The competition takes place in two stages: first, a national selection in each country, followed by the Central European final on June 8^th , 2023, in Prague under the auspices of Charles University.
