Multilingual workshops within POB5
On Thursday, May 20, 2021, at 4:00 p.m., there will be multilingual workshops organized as part of Priority Research Area 5: process automation and Industry 4.0.
The workshop is aimed both at linguists and people involved in teaching foreign languages, as well as at all those who develop IT systems and tools for learning foreign languages. The meeting will be an opportunity to exchange experiences in the field of linguistics, artificial intelligence and computer science.

4:00 p.m. -4:10 p.m. Professor Przemysław Gębal (Silesian University of Technology), "Parallel learning of several foreign languages as support for personal potential" (introduction);
4:10 p.m.-4: 30 p.m.: Dr Jacopo Saturno (Università di Bergamo, Italy), "The potential of intercomprehension. How to use it? ”;
4:30 p.m. -6:00 p.m.: Małgorzata Mülle (VHS Eschweiler, Germany), “Workshops on simultaneous learning of several foreign languages. Resources - strategies - know-how ”;
6:00 p.m.-6:15 p.m.: Dr Łukasz Kumięga (Silesian University of Technology), "Multilingualism in academic activities" (workshop summary and discussion).
