The participants visited a meteorological station and a greenhouse gas measurement laboratory. They also learned:
- How SYNOP STORM and AVIO messages are created
- How and why CO₂, SF₆, CH₄, freons and other gases are measured,
- Why mountain stations are crucial for climate research,
- What the global and national measurement network looks like.
- Finally – validation of data and a large dose of practical knowledge, so also validation of knowledge took place - says Prof. Barbara Sensuła.
