The postgraduate course 'Mobile application and database engineering' is a response to the needs of the labour market. Currently, one of the most sought-after employees in IT is a mobile application developer.
- We all use the advantages of mobile technology on a daily basis. We use our phone or smartwatch to handle errands at the office, bank or shop. We are in constant contact and can control the devices around us, also from the level of our phones.
The pandemic period has shown how important it is to be able to do things without personal contact, just from the screen of our phones. The primary objective of postgraduate studies is to familiarise participants with the current state of knowledge and technology in the field of software development (including mobile applications) and database design and management. The study programme covers issues related to Java, Kotlin and Swift programming languages, SQL query language, software development methodologies and IT project management. Database technologies are of significant importance in the study programme. They constitute an inseparable element of modern information systems.
