Minerals Exchange at Silesian University of Technology
At the Silesian University of Technology, the Minerals Exchange and Jewellery Fair will take place. This is a unique event that since 1986 has brought together geologists, mineral collectors.
The Minerals Exchange will take place from 29 to 30 November 2025 at the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering, and Industrial Automation at 2, Akademicka Street in Gliwice. The Mineral Exchange is a meeting with passion, science, and history, hidden in the most beautiful specimens of minerals, rocks and fossils from all over the world.
During the event, you will be able to admire minerals, rocks, fossils, jewellery, and handicrafts at the stands. A meeting with the co-founder of the Polish Meteorological Society and one of the largest Polish collectors of space rocks, which will be on display at its stand is planned. There will also be a meeting with the group “Realgar” – the authors of the most popular geological blog in Poland, who will conduct workshops and tell you how to start the adventure with collecting minerals wisely. There will also be debates “Let’s talk about stones.”
The organizers have also prepared a children’s zone, where workshops and games will take place, introducing the youngest guests to the secrets of the world of minerals. You will also be able to visit the Museum of Geology.
Admission to the Minerals Exchange at the Silesian University of Technology is free of charge.
