On the 17th of May this year, the Centre for Modern Education carried out another training “Microsoft Teams in didactics and teamwork” organized as part of a series of trainings dedicated to the academic staff of the Silesian University of Technology in the field of modern teaching methodology.

During the training participants:
• improved the skills of designing the educational environment in Microsoft Teams,
• got to know additional Microsoft Teams tools,
• developed competences in the field of using innovative tools improving student education, expanding the team’s functionality through channels, bookmarks, and plug-ins,
• they improved the issues of monitoring the work of the class group, creating, and managing shared files, using interactive functions of the application.

The training cycle is led by Dr Stefan Nowicki, digital competence trainer of academic teachers, instructional designer, graduate of the Institute for Emerging Leadership in Online Learning (Online Learning Consortium & Washington State University). Certified Microsoft PowerPoint Specialist, Word Expert and Minecraft Trainer.
Further trainings will be carried out according to the schedule, and the cycle will end in June this year
