Green transformation is a process of changes aimed, among others, at the protection of natural resources, increasing ecological responsibility, sustainable development, protection of biodiversity, as well as the development of renewable energy sources. Prof. Dr Hab. Aleksandra Ziembińska-Buczyńska – science populariser, microbiologist, researcher of the Department of Environmental Biotechnology of the Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering, director of the Science Popularisation Centre of the Silesian University of Technology -will talk about how scientists use the potential of microorganisms in environmental and climate protection.
The lecture “Microbes – leaders of work in green transformation” will take place on July 7 at 17.00 in the Central Library at 17, Kosciuszki Street in Gliwice. Entrance is free of charge.
