- We want young people to think about how they can change their environment in small steps, what they can come up with in the area of the circular economy. It is not only about ready-made technical solutions, but there can also be organizational or educational solutions, e.g. how to change everyday habits to produce less waste or how to reuse it - emphasized Blanka Romanowska from the Metropolis GZM.
Sixty-nine students from all over Poland take part in the Metropolitan Climathon 2022, 43 of whom are on-site and all the others online. The marathon began on Thursday (October 27th ) at 1:00 p.m. will last until Friday (October 28th ) until 15:00 - at the Centre of New Technologies in Gliwice.
- The 24-hour marathon of creativity is an unusual formula, so that it would not be a tedious project work all the time, we provided participants with various attractions that will allow them to relax a bit, take a break from work. We have planned a rock concert, improvisation and yoga workshops. In addition, throughout the event, mentors and experts are present to advise our participants whether what they propose in their projects is a good direction and whether the idea can be applied in practice - said Marcin Korzeb from the Frotis Pro Nobis Foundation.
