Meeting of the Special Guest cycle within POB 5

On April 7, 2022, a meeting of the Special Guest Series within POB 5 “Process automation and Industry 4.0”  will be held. This time the guest will be Professor Moncarz, Consulting Professor at Stanford University, co-founder and chairman of the US-Polish Trade Council, USA. 

The topic of the meeting is: "How do science with enduse in mind?". It will be held in English on 7 April 2022 (Thursday) at 5 p.m. via the Teams platform.

Professor Piotr Moncarz is a Polish-American engineer. He specialises in materials and civil engineering as well as the implementation of new technologies and the investigation of building disasters. Since 2007, he has been a member of the management board of the National Centre for Research and Development. He is a long-time employee and vice-president of Exponent, an American disaster corporation based in Silicon Valley. Professor is also a director of the Top 500 Innovators programme, co-founder and Chairman of the US-Polish Trade Council (USPTC). The main goal of the USPTC is to create an American-Polish Innovation Center in Silicon Valley, which supports Polish companies entering international markets. Professor Moncarz is also a member of the POB5 International Advisory Board at the Silesian University of Technology.
