Meeting of the Silesian University of Technology authorities with retired employees of the University
On October 8th, 2022, at the Educational and Congress Centre of the SUT in Gliwice, a meeting of the University authorities with retired employees took place. Almost 500 retirees came to the ceremony - both people who have just retired and distinguished seniors.
It was the first meeting after a two-year hiatus caused by a pandemic. On behalf of the University authorities, the participants were welcomed by prof. Bogusław Łazarz - Vice-Rector for General Affairs of the Silesian University of Technology. The ceremony was an opportunity to meet former colleagues from work and remember the time spent at the Silesian University of Technology. The ceremony was graced by the performance of The Beatlemen, which recalled the hits of the Liverpool band and Polish performers of the 1960s.
