Meeting of heads of Central Administration Units of Technical Universities
Challenges related to the creation of the educational offer, changes in study programs, diploma paths and the student's electronic file - these are the topics of the meeting of the heads of the Central Administration Units of Technical Universities, which took place at the Silesian University of Technology.
The meeting is taking place from May 31st to June 2nd, 2023. The first day of the meeting was attended by the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, prof. Arkadiusz Mężyk, chairman of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland, prof. Wojciech Łużny, Vice-Rector for Education at the AGH University of Science and Technology, Chairman of the Conference of Vice-Rectors for Education and Student Affairs of Polish Technical Universities and
prof. Wojciech Szkliniarz, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education at the Silesian University of Technology.
The participants of the meeting discussed about the challenges related to creating an educational offer - about fields of study, including those in foreign languages, about specialisations, including diplomas, scopes, diploma paths, study programs and their changes. There was also a discussion panel on the recruitment process for studies and changes in the field of mLegitymacja (mobile ID card for students).
During the visit, the guests also visited selected laboratories at our University.
