Lviv Polytechnic National University granted the Prof. Zieliński Award

The Professor Zielinski Award is granted by the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the Lviv Polytechnic National University for the best doctoral student in the specialty of Technology and Chemical Engineering. The winner is Anastasia Chebotar.

The award was presented to the scholarship holder by Prof. Mykhailo Lobur and Mykhailo Vasylovich gave a presentation about Prof. Wojciech Zieliński. The Scientific Council of the Institute of Chemical Technology celebrated the memory of professor Wojciech Zieliński who died in November last year with a minute of silence. Prof. Zieliński, an outstanding chemist, rector of the Silesian University of Technology in 2002-2008, in 2008 received the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the Lviv Polytechnic National University. The team of the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the Lviv Polytechnic National University expressed gratitude for the support he provided to young technologists and chemists of this Ukrainian university.
