List of projects selected for the 7th edition of the PBL
The results of the 7th edition of PBL are already known. 30 September 2021 ended the process of qualifying proposals for Individual Study Programmes (IPS) implemented as the Project Base Learning (PBL) within the project "Silesian University of Technology as a Centre for Modern Education based on Research and Innovation". In the 7th edition, 29 out of 37 submitted applications were qualified.
Recruitment of projects took place as a university competition. During the assessment of competition applications, huge emphasis is placed on the interdisciplinary nature of projects - both in terms of the cooperation of supervisors, composition of students and the project topics. Cooperation with foreign research centres is much appreciated, especially with teams including both scientists and students from foreign universities. There is a possibility to apply for additional fundking for supervisors of such projects under the Rector’s Ordinance with number 25/2021. Detailed information is available at the International Relationas Office.
Up to now, 124 PBL projects have been implemented. Participation in the project has allowed more than 700 students to develop their competences. Since the beginning of the Project, PLN 4 798 096 has been spent on the whole task.
Currently, it is the 7th edition of the competition, in which students of the Silesian University of Technology, studying at the 1st and 2nd degree of education, take part. In the 7th edition, 29 out of 37 submitted applications were qualified. Competition results are in below attached document.
