Let’s design an asynchronous course together – a training course at the Centre for Modern Education
On the 12th and 26th of April this year, the Centre for Modern Education held another training: “Let’s design together an asynchronous course in which one wants to participate”, implemented as part of a series of training courses in the field of modern learning methods, dedicated to the academic staff of the Silesian University of Technology.
During the training, which was divided into two online and stationary workshops, participants:
- Improved the skills of designing asynchronous courses on the Moodle platform;
- developed competences in the use of innovative tools to improve asynchronous learning;
- they tested the use of tools available on the platform, such as a book, evaluation journal or test module.
The training cycle is led by Dr Stefan Nowicki, digital competence trainer of academic teachers, instructional designer, graduate of the Institute for Emerging Leadership in Online Learning (Online Learning Consortium & Washington State University). Certified Microsoft PowerPoint Specialist, Word Expert and Minecraft Trainer.
