Lecture as part of POB6

We invite you to the lecture by dr hab. Michał Krzykawski, prof. of the University of Silesia entitled "Ecological awareness and ecology of technology in the context of decarbonization of the economy." The meeting will be held within the Priority Research Area: Climate and environmental protection: modern energy.

The lecture will be held on March 12^th, 2024, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, auditorium 615 at 2, Bolesława Krzywoustego Street. Start time: 1:00 p.m.

Dr hab. Michał Krzykawski, prof. University of Silesia, philosopher, researcher at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Silesia in Katowice, where he heads the Centre for Critical Research on Technologies. Author and co-author of many works in the field of contemporary French philosophy, philosophy of technology and social philosophy. A supporter of transdisciplinary research. Recently published works: Bifurcation necessary. “There is no alternative" (editor: Bernard Stiegler and Kolektyw Internacja, Katowice 2023) and Economy and entropy. How to get out of the polycrisis (editors Jerzy Hausner, Michał Krzykawski, Warsaw 2023).
