Join the team of volunteers during the Researchers' Night in the European City of Science 2024 at the Silesian University of Technology
Registration of volunteers supporting the organization of Researchers' Night at the Silesian University of Technology has begun. To join the event, please register via the form by September 22nd, 2024.
Volunteering at the Researchers' Night is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in supporting the implementation of popular science events and interesting meetings with people of science.
The condition for participation in volunteering is to be over 18 years of age. Volunteers can be both members of the community of the Silesian University of Technology and people unrelated to our university, e.g. students of other universities in the region, as well as seniors. Participation should be registered via the form available on the website: https://nocnaukowcow.com.pl/wolontariat/ until September 22nd, 2024
The tasks of volunteers include, among others: supporting coordinators carrying out activities, registering participants' attendance at the event, helping them navigate around university campuses.
As part of the preparations for the Researchers' Night, volunteers participate in two meetings with the event coordinator, during which they learn the rules regarding the organization, including place and duration of individual activities planned on four campuses of the Silesian University of Technology: Gliwice, Katowice, Zabrze and Rybnik.
