“James Dyson Award” competition
Registration for the first Polish edition of the "James Dyson Award" competition is now open. The competition is addressed to creative and entrepreneurial students and graduates of faculties related to engineering and design.
According to the regulations of Intellectual Property Management at the Silesian University of Technology, solutions must be registered in the ZDI database and the creative contribution needs to be provided.
Projects and inventions supporting the solution of a given problem can be submitted to the competition. After the national stage is resolved, a prize and two distinctions will be awarded. The winner at the local level will be qualified for the international stage, where two prizes of 152,000 PLN each will be awarded: International Sustainability Prize and the Main International Prize. The winning projects will not only receive financial assistance, but also an expert support. Registration is open till 30 June 2021.
