On March 24^th, the “Knowledge Day with ORLEN” will take place at the Student Creativity Centre of the Silesian University of Technology. We invite all students – in particular, those from the Faculty of Chemistry and the Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering – to participate in this unique event, which will start at 10:00.

“Knowledge Day with ORLEN” is an educational project in which, through series of workshops, lectures, we present the practical application of theoretical knowledge acquired at school and at the university. It is an opportunity to learn about solutions, functioning market practices, and innovation.

The program includes meetings with science clubs, a short career talk about development opportunities, work placements and internships, directions of development of the company and key projects in ORLEN, as well as workshops “From a reaction in a test tube to a decision on implementation.” Their aim is to present the specifics of ORLEN’s R&D work together with the characteristic elements of conducting a research and development project, as well as the way in which decisions are made in the scope of scaling new, innovative solutions.

Representatives of ORLEN can also be met today at the Engineering Job and Entrepreneurship Fair in the hall of the Sports Centre of the Silesian University of Technology.
