Invitation to the 3rd Conference “Security Aspects in Science and Practice”
We are pleased to announce that on 11th –12th of June 2026 in Ustroń, at the Belweder Hotel, the third edition of the conference devoted to the contemporary challenges of security in science and practice will take place. The event will once again become a space for exchange of experience between the scientific community and industry representatives, with particular emphasis on current trends and problems related to occupational safety.
The theme of this year’s meeting will be “Health and safety at work – from threats to effective help.” During the event, issues related to contemporary threats in the work environment, occupational diseases – with particular emphasis on pulmonary pylons – as well as prevention and rapid response in emergency situations will be discussed.
We are proud to emphasize that the conference is once again under the honorary patronage of the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, as well as:
- Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship Wojciech Saługa,
- President of the Social Insurance Institution,
- Chief Labour Inspector of the State Labour Inspectorate,
- President of the Higher Mining Authority,
- President of the National Association of Health and Safety Workers.
Such a wide group of patrons emphasizes the importance of the event for both the scientific community and practitioners dealing with occupational and industrial safety.

The program of the event includes expert presentations, presentations on the latest industry issues and a practical look at safety in the work environment. An additional attraction will be a first aid workshop using VR technology, which will allow participants to practice their response to emergencies in realistic conditions.
