Start - Aktualności - Invitation to ESOF 2024

Dear Sirs and Madams,
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in the EuroScience Open Forum 2024 (ESOF2024) conference - one of the most important international science events to be held in Katowice, Poland, on 12-15 June 2024.
The ESOF2024 conference aims to promote an open debate on science and its fundamental role in society, accessible to a wider audience. This year's edition, entitled 'Life Changes Science', will focus in particular on the challenges of transformation - energy, environment, health, social, cultural, digital - and the ways in which leading scientists can respond to them. It is an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences and explore innovative solutions. The event will bring together scientists and academics, policy makers, representatives of public institutions, business, and the media, as well as citizens, to discuss the latest developments in various fields of science and the arts with their impact on our lives.
ESOF2024 is not only a major scientific event, but also the culmination of the European City of Science 2024 celebrations.
As the first city in Central Europe to be awarded the title of European City of Science, Katowice has become an inspiring place for a multi-faceted debate where science meets the everyday lives of its citizens.
