The Inter-University Inauguration of the Academic Year will once again take place on 30 September. This year’s celebration will mark the beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year. One of the most important events in Silesia’s academic calendar will begin at 4:00PM at the at the seat of The Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice (NOSPR) and, as every year, will be preceded by a march of the rector's processions through the streets of Katowice.

 The program includes, among others:
 - a science fair on the Market Square in Katowice, featuring workshops, demonstrations, and stands by universities forming the Academic Consortium – Katowice City of Science,
 - a ceremonial march of the rector's processions from the Market Square to the NOSPR building.
