International Student Scientific Conference TalentDetector2024
On June 17th, 2024, the International Student Scientific Conference TalentDetector2024_Summer was held at the Education and Congress Centre of the Silesian University of Technology. The event was attended by over 140 participants from Poland and abroad.
The conference was an opportunity to present projects carried out as part of the activities of Student Science Clubs, doctorates, teams implementing PBL (Project Based Learning) projects as part of the Excellence Initiative - Research University program at the Silesian University of Technology. Projects carried out within the framework of EURECA-PRO and international cooperation between ERASMUS+ and the International Visegrad Foundation were also presented.
The conference was attended by 142 participants from Ethiopia, Ghana, Georgia, Iran, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine and Poland, who presented over 80 scientific articles. The conference materials were published in the form of a monograph.
The TalentDetector2024_Summer conference was accompanied by the implementation of the project of the International Visegrad Foundation V4 Generation Mobility Mini-Grant No. 12410044 @visegradfund, which is the result of cooperation between the Association of Alumni of the Silesian University of Technology and the University of Zilina in Slovakia. The project involves 30 students and 12 researchers from the University of Zilina in Slovakia and the Silesian University of Technology.
Participants worked in the laboratories of the Department of Engineering Materials and Biomaterials, the Materials Research Laboratory and the Scientific and Educational Laboratory of Nanotechnology and Material Technologies.
