International Congress on Education Quality
On the 21st –23rd of October 2026, Katowice will host the 5th International Congress on Education Quality (ICEQ). The event will be an opportunity to gain practical tools, exchange experiences between universities and discuss daily challenges in didactic and administrative work.
The program of this year’s Congress includes panels, workshops and accompanying events dedicated to the challenges and needs of university employees. The planned events include meetings devoted to artificial intelligence in teaching work and the functioning of the university.
On 21st of October, from 9:00-10:30, a meeting “AI as a tool supporting didactic work – between potential and responsibility” will take place, organized as part of V cascade training for people organizing education. The next meeting under the same title is scheduled from 10:45-12:15. At 19:00 a concert will take place at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music In Katowice.
A solemn inauguration of the Congress is planned to take place on October 22nd, from 11:00-13:30. On the same day, from 14:00-16:00, a meeting in the AI Cafe series “Café Akademia. Artificial intelligence at the university – didactics, science, administration” has been scheduled.
The last day of the Congress, October 23rd, will start at 9:00 with “Planszofest for academic teachers – Dixit in academic teaching”, combined with networking. Then, from 10:00-13:30, there will be “Well-being in didactic work – laboratory of experiences”, i.e. an open space session.
