Interactive materials in Power Point – training at the Centre for Modern Education

On April the 5^th this year, the Centre for Modern Education held another training in modern methods of education, dedicated to the academic staff of the Silesian University of Technology.

During the "Interactive Materials in Power Point" training participants:

• Improved their abilities to design multimedia presentations using non-standard Power Point features to personalize the learning process;
• developed competences in the design of teaching materials in accordance with the theory of multimedia learning;
• learnt to create dynamic presentations that increase student engagement;
• improved the ability to use additional functionalities that support the process of independent learning.

The training cycle is led by Dr Stefan Nowicki, digital competence trainer of academic teachers, instructional designer, graduate of the Institute for Emerging Leadership in Online Learning (Online Learning Consortium & Washington State University). Certified Microsoft PowerPoint Specialist, Word Expert and Minecraft Trainer.
