Institute of Physics invites secondary school students to popular science demonstrations and lectures
How does a physicist see the world, electromagnetic phenomena, forces in nature and tsunami waves - these are the topics of lectures given by the Institute of Physics - Centre for Science and Education of the Silesian University of Technology. Researchers have also prepared interesting shows - physical demonstrations.
The lectures and demonstrations are aimed at secondary school students. ”They will take place between November 2021 and February 2022. During the lectures it will be possible to learn about electromagnetic forces, optical phenomena in nature, tsunami waves, the Coriolis force and other issues from physics and from the area of physics and other fields of science" says Justyna Juszczyk-Synowiec, PhD.
Researchers from the Institute of Physics - Centre for Science and Education of the Silesian University of Technology have also prepared demonstrations and will give you tips on how to perform physical experiments yourself.
Registration for the lectures should be send to Justyna Juszczyk-Synowiec at: justyna.juszczyk-synowiec@polsl.pl
Registration for shows and demonstrations should be send to Barbara Solecka at: barbara.solecka@polsl.pl
