Industry 4.0 Centre of the Silesian University of Technology at Warsaw Industry Week

Industry 4.0 Centre of the Silesian University of Technology is a substantive partner of the International Industrial Conference. The event will take place as part of Warsaw Industry Week, the largest industrial fair in Poland.

The conference accompanying the fair will take place on November 5, 2024, at Ptak Warsaw Expo. The theme will be the modern trend of industry datafication.

Data that is massively generated in and around manufacturing plants is the fuel for innovative, intelligent technologies that enable building new values and business advantages.

Predictive solutions for both maintenance and product quality assurance, intelligent intra-logistics systems and fault-tolerant supply and production chain management systems can serve as an example here. They are also distributed, networked production systems, enabling effective personalization of products according to the current needs of the recipient.

The conference aims to introduce the participants to the principles of industry datafication in order to obtain measurable benefits in the conducted business. The program includes presentations of the representatives of industry, research and development units and universities, institutions, as well as suppliers of dedicated solutions invited by the Industry 4.0 Centre of the Silesian University of Technology.

The methods of implementation of industry datafication, examples of good practices, as well as new regulations concerning the area of data in production activities (Data Act, Digital Product Passport, Data Security) and dedicated solutions for use by entrepreneurs will be presented.
